Hi, I’m Kenzie ♡
Pastry chef, cake artist, content creator, and founder of Kitch by Kenz — but at heart, I just really love making beautiful things and inspiring other people to create, too.
I’ve always been a creative at heart. I earned my degree in Marketing & Advertising, but eventually found myself pulled back toward something I had loved for as long as I could remember: baking.
So, I went back to school for pastry.
What started in my kitchen, a love for making beautiful things, slowly became something much bigger than I ever expected. I began sharing my work online in 2023, and somewhere between the elaborate cakes, questionable creative decisions, kitchen disasters, piping tutorials, and a whole lot of buttercream, a community began to form.
And Kitch by Kenz grew with it.
Of course, I want to make things that are beautiful. But what I really care about is how creating makes us feel…
I want someone to watch one of my videos and suddenly want to bake something just because it sounds fun. I want the person who insists they’re “not creative” to reconsider. I want beautiful things to feel inspiring rather than intimidating.
Because creativity doesn't have to be perfect, productive, or even particularly serious.
Sometimes it can exist simply because making something with your own two hands feels good.
That belief has become the heart of Kitch by Kenz:
Inspiring people to fall in love with creating through cake artistry, storytelling, and products that make everyday creativity feel a little more magical.
Today, Kitch by Kenz lives somewhere between a bakery, a creative studio, and the slightly chaotic corner of the internet where I convince myself I can turn just about anything into cake.
I make custom cakes, share tutorials and recipes, tell the very real stories behind what happens in my kitchen, and design aprons for those who love creating as much as I do!
I don't know exactly what Kitch by Kenz will look like ten years from now — and I think that's part of the fun.
I know there will be more cakes. More products. More recipes. More storytelling. More ridiculous ideas that I decide absolutely must become cake.
But above all, I want to keep building a world that reminds people that creativity belongs to them.
So whether you're here because you bake every weekend, you've never touched a piping bag, you came for the cakes, or you just like watching me figure things out as I go...
